Welcome to Know IT All

Hi there and welcome to Know IT All from the children’s internet charity, Childnet International. This is the home page and you can get back here at any time by choosing the ‘Home’ option from the MENU at the left of this page.

As the internet and mobile phones become more and more a part of our lives we want everyone to Know IT All—not just when it comes to the benefits, but also the safety issues. That’s why we’ve called this guide ‘Know IT All’.

Parents and carers
Most of what we talk about is aimed at parents and carers, but there is extra material for young people and teachers, and also something for you if you’re new to computers. If you are a parent or carer then chose this option from the menu. We’ll give you up to date information about the benefits of being online, as well as important advice on how you can keep your family safe.

New to computers
If you are new to computers then don’t worry, we’ve thought about you too. It's got a special tutorial which will show you the basics.

Young people
If you’re a young person then you probably already feel that you Know IT All when it comes to computers, but we think you’ll be interested in a special section written by young people with advice on issues you face such as cyberbullying, privacy and online security.

Teachers
